Franko Brečić Competes at Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs Croatia 2025

 

In October 2025, sous chef Franko Brečić represented Makarun at the 4th National Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs competition held at FIT Akademis in Split.

The prestigious competition gathered talented young chefs from across Croatia and challenged them to create dishes using a mystery box containing duck breast, scallops, and carrots under strict time and technical conditions.

Organised in collaboration with the Regional Competence Centre Split and TUŠ Split, the competition highlighted the creativity, discipline, and technical precision of the next generation of Croatian chefs.

For Franko, participating in Jeunes Chefs Rôtisseurs was an important professional experience and an opportunity to work under pressure alongside some of the country’s most promising young culinary talents.
